From Ugly Duckling to Beautiful Duck Egg

I loved the shape of this dresser but it was in less than desirable condition.  The top was in really sad shape with some type of chemical stain damage so I had to dig out the sander…which is not really I tool I use very much any more since I have switched to painting with Chalk Paint® Decorative Paints by Annie Sloan.  Even after sanding the top I had some type of bleed through after using all the tricks I knew to use I finally had to paint a coat of primer to totally block the stain from coming through.  Needless to say this simply beautifully shaped dresser became a monster to paint.  Here is the before picture….

After painting, distressing, waxing and a little staging at my retail shop here she is all ready for her new home.
