I completed another retail painting project. This project was at Michelle’s Ice Cream shop located in the historic train station in downtown Belmont, NC. This ice cream shop has so much character plus a nice patio garden to enjoy your purchase of ice cream. I painted the buffet piece of furniture behind one of the ice cream counters and the columns in beautiful Chalk Paint® Decorative Paints by Annie Sloan colors of Old White and Antoinette.
I painted the Buffet at my studio/retail space in downtown Mount Holly and the columns on location at the ice cream shop.
While I was painting I always felt like someone was watching me and looked over my shoulder numerous times even after I knew it was just Elvis. That’s right Elvis hangs out at this ice cream shop
They also have a really cool jute box and vintage styled booths. This shop has so much character. It is worth a trip to downtown Belmont just to enjoy the ice cream and the atomsphere at this little shop.
